About Play Roadster
Play Roadster is a free stunt car game you can play in any browser. It was made by Kuangshan, an independent developer and product manager, as a small, honest game about one satisfying moment: flipping a rocket-powered car over a convoy of trucks and landing it clean.
Why it exists
In October 2026 rocket-thruster sports cars were all over the news. Instead of only reading about them, I wanted to make something people could actually fly. Play Roadster is the result: no download, no account, no pay-to-win — just three controls, ten levels and a landing to stick.
How it is made
- The game is written in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript and drawn on a canvas. Every car, truck and track is drawn in code; no brand logos or official footage are used.
- The physics is deterministic, so the same inputs always give the same flight. Every level is checked by automated tests that replay a real winning run.
- I build with the help of AI coding tools, and I play-test and review every change myself.
- The site is free because it shows Google ads between runs. See the privacy policy for details.
